yesterday i accomplished something i've always wanted to do - to learn CYCLING! strangely, i've never gotten round to learning how to cycle, even though there are two bicycles lying around at home (talk about the number of white elephants i have), the closest i've come to experiencing the speed and freedom of this sport is on the four-wheeled bike i had when i was really young, and of course tandem bikes (which are often too bulky and difficult to maneuver). anyway, it wasn't really that much of a nerve-wretching experience. in fact, i surprised myself - my sense of balance really isn't that bad (as i've imagined) - i managed to conquer my fear and was able to cycle straight after about an hour-plus and two falls, still bad with turns though. practice makes perfect... so if i'm able to get off my lazy bum to practise a few more rounds, i should be cruising the paths of east coast park very soon. :)

anyway, the bike i used yesterday, isn't she pretty? it's a cannondale f700 hardtail '99, and all i know is that she's really pricy for a bike.
