i'm back from my 2D/2N work trip, and i've never felt better about stepping on solid hard singapore soil. despite the monsoon season, the sea state wasn't as bad as expected and i actually managed without popping any of my motion sickness pills, afraid that it would make me too drowsy. the food onboard was relatively good, i was in fact pretty impressed with the nasi brani with mutton curry/kambeng soup dinner after having this strange-tasting wasabi vegetables for lunch (wasabi was suspected to be added in to mask certain chemical/bitter taste). on the whole, i still hate the feeling of being cooped up in a confined area and being on an UNSTABLE platform, and i seriously hope there isn't going to be a second time, to go onboard a place where toilets are known as heads. now, even superliner star cruise doesn't excite me.
anyway, it's time to catch up on some sleep (less than 4 hours the previous night!) and then it's off to goodwood park hotel high-tea for my office christmas celebration! and gross it may sound, my respiratory tract is still clogged up with phlegm despite completing my entire antibiotics course, damn.
