i'm craving for my chocolate easter egg!

last friday, my university class met up at riverwalk tandoor and that was my first proper indian food experience. the food was surprisingly tasty and i particularly enjoyed the mutton curry which was cooked in yoghurt and the tandoori chicken, which we ate with saffron rice and naan. for once, we felt like minorities, especially so when there was this huge group of bangladeshi workers just behind us and the way the scoop mountains of rice onto their plates was somewhat scary. the restaurant's service standard was top-notch, it's seldom you get the waiter asking how's the food, and showing concern when one of us hardly touched the milk custard dessert. even for somebody like me with a sweet tooth, indian desserts are far too sweet for me, particularly the gulab jamun - milky balls which has a cake-like-texture, soaked in concentrated sugar syrup.
