lion's birthday dinner

our long overdue celebration for our dear lion - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! that poor girl was down with tonsillitis the previous week, so we went for chinese food instead. erm, but judging by the fried dishes we ordered, i guess it didn't help much, hah. we spent the next three hours at settler's cafe, and tried a total of five games. taboo was the only one i played before, while the rest were totally unknown and have queer names like pick picknic and snorta (and what was the first game which daniel picked?). my mind went blank several times during snorta, a game which tests your reflex in making animal sounds; pick picknic is all about chickens picking corn and wolves eating chickens. anyway, settler's cafe didn't have a decent dessert menu, i was so confident they must have at least the basic chocolate cake, so we settled for ice-cream for the birthday girl instead. promise you'll get your chocolate fudge cake next year! ;)


anyway, the poor thing bf just recovered from bouts of headache and body aches, and now he's down with itchy body rash (doctor said it's known as hives). not sure if it's allergy to the new medication or some type of food. :|
