mikel turns two!

no FULL liverpool birthday theme unlike last year, but the birthday boy was in a liverpool jersey, and i guess it was daddy's big idea. the house was buzzing with activity simply because of the sheer number of kids running/crawling around, although the most notorious two had to be the birthday boy and seth (yes, i agree it comes from the daddies' sji genes)!

pauline, please thank your mum for preparing all the food - the curry and prata combi was great, maybe next time we can switch to having supper at your place... and you made the right choice by having a durian cake, prima deli definitely didn't scrimp on the durian filling between the layers, it tasted just like the fruit (!) - just ignore the non-durian eaters like iggy... and oops, wen. we hope mikel will enjoy the presents we got, it's actually quite fun shopping for educational toys... i don't remember we had that many types of toys during our time! ;-)

looks like we're already starting the phase of life where we find ourselves attending more and more baby showers and children birthday parties.
