daniel's belated birthday celebration

we went to botan japanese restaurant located at far east square on saturday evening for daniel's birthday dinner, albeit late because he just came back from the states. (oh yeah, that reminds me - thanks for the cute m&ms and assortment of candies!) we ordered the dinner bento sets... almost every part of the table was covered with small dishes of food, we were simply spoilt for choice and at some point you'll feel that you really didn't know what to eat next!


what's dinner without dessert! hence, we drove down to holland village for ice-cream! :-) the price of earthquake has really gone up over the years, and the size of the scoops has shrunk tremendously too! well well, probably the last sumptuous meal before i pop - less than two more weeks to go!
